Decades of Commitment
When Dermer Management was founded in 1992, our goal was simple: build a different kind of property management company.
Too often, we saw buildings caught in a cycle of management turnover, changing managers, changing personnel, and repeatedly starting over. Boards were forced to spend valuable time retraining new management teams, rebuilding relationships, and addressing issues that should have been resolved years earlier.
We believed there was a better way.
From the beginning, our commitment was not simply to obtain management assignments. Our commitment was to build lasting relationships, remain actively engaged with our clients, and provide a level of service that would earn their trust year after year.
More than three decades later, that philosophy continues to guide our company.
Today, many of the properties we assumed management of decades ago remain under our management. We believe that longevity is one of the clearest measures of client satisfaction and long-term performance.

A Few Examples of Long-Term Client Relationships
These relationships represent more than longevity. They reflect decades of trust, collaboration, consistency, and results.
In an industry where management companies often experience significant client turnover, we believe our long-term retention speaks for itself.
Results That Matter
Over the years, our disciplined management approach has helped our buildings:
- Maintain balanced operating budgets
- Build substantial capital reserves
- Complete major capital improvement projects
- Achieve regulatory compliance
- Minimize litigation exposure
- Reduce insurance claims
- Improve operational efficiency
- Preserve and enhance long-term property values
Our objective has never been to grow into a factory-style management company where buildings become numbers on a spreadsheet.
Instead, we have focused on carefully building a portfolio of properties where we can remain actively involved, responsive, and committed for the long term.
We believe that successful property management is measured not by how many buildings a company acquires, but by how many buildings choose to remain with that company year after year, decade after decade.
For more than 30 years, our clients have continued to place their trust in Dermer Management. We are proud of those relationships and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the communities that have been part of our story from the very beginning.
